Meanwhile, the Adamas Howrah Warriors Women’s team pulled off a commendable win against the Murshidabad Kueens Women’s team by 7 wickets, and the Harbour Diamonds Women’s team outperformed the Rashmi Medinipur Wizards Women’s side, winning by a substantial 49 runs.

Match 20: Shrachi Rarh Tigers Women’s vs Servotech Siliguri Strikers Women’s

The Servotech Siliguri Strikers found themselves in tumultuous waters from the very start, batting first and struggling to put together a competitive total. With an underwhelming score of just 95 runs for 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs, it was evident that they were outmatched. Mouli Manik Mandal fought valiantly amidst the chaos, holding her ground with a cautious knock of 32 off 40 balls, but her efforts were not enough to stabilize the innings.

Skipper Priyanka Bala contributed a mere 11 runs, while Tithi Swarpan Das added some degree of stability with her 18 runs. Unfortunately, the rest of the batting order crumbled, unable to make significant contributions against the disciplined and strategic bowling of the Rarh Tigers. Bidisha Dey shone brightly in the bowling department, with impressive figures of 3 wickets for 27 runs. Piyali Ghosh and Shreya Karar added to the pressure, ensuring that every partnership was dismantled early.

In stark contrast, the Rarh Tigers’ opening pair, Parama Mondal and Brishti Susanta Majhi, exhibited confidence and finesse, swiftly chasing down the target without losing a single wicket. Their partnership was nothing short of a masterclass, as they amassed an unbeaten 96 runs between them. Brishti played a beautiful innings, finishing with 55 runs off 49 balls, while Parama calmly anchored the innings, contributing 37 runs off 39 deliveries. The Rarh Tigers completed their chase in just 16.2 overs, showcasing a commanding performance.

Match 21: Adamas Howrah Warriors Women’s vs Murshidabad Kueens Women’s

Taking to the pitch first, the Murshidabad Kueens struggled tremendously, bowled out for a mere 97 runs after 18.5 overs. Their top order faltered alarmingly, losing wickets in quick succession. Jahanvi Raj Paswan, Samayita Adhikari, and Snigdha Paul collectively fell for just 11 runs, leaving the side reeling under early pressure. Skipper Prativa Rana displayed some resilience with a fighting score of 25 off 29 balls, even as the remaining middle order crumbled.

Leading the attack for the Warriors was Asmita Das, who delivered a sensational bowling performance, bagging 5 wickets for only 7 runs in 2.5 overs. Shrayosi Pranay Aich provided essential support, claiming 2 wickets for 24 runs and disrupting any attempts at partnerships.

When it came time to chase the modest target, the Howrah Warriors responded with a balanced and confident approach. Openers Ankita Chakraborty and captain Dhara Gujjar laid down the groundwork with a solid 38-run opening partnership. Ankita contributed 22 runs off 31 balls, while Dhara led from the front, finishing the match with a commanding 55* off 45 balls. Priyanka Prasad also assisted with a smooth 11* off 15, leading the team to a comfortable victory at 101 runs for 3 wickets in just 19.1 overs.

Match 22: Harbour Diamonds Women’s vs Rashmi Medinipur Wizards Women’s

In the third match of the day, the Harbour Diamonds stepped up to bat, posting a solid total of 146 runs for 3 wickets across their 20 overs. Rupal Tiwari was the star of the innings, shining brightly with a stunning 74 runs off 58 balls, a performance that demonstrated her skill and power. She formed a valuable partnership with fellow opener Kashish Vinod Agarwal, who contributed a steady 19 runs.

Though skipper Saika Ishaque had a disappointing outing with only 11 runs, the Diamonds built momentum towards the end of their innings, with Ankita Barman adding an important unbeaten 19*. The Wizards struggled to contain the aggressive batting, especially with Rupal also making her impact felt with the ball, achieving impressive figures of 2/7 in her short spell.

With a target of 147 runs, the Medinipur Wizards struggled throughout their innings, getting bowled out for only 97 runs in 17.4 overs. Despite decent starts from Arpita Yadav and captain Ipsita Mondal, the middle order collapsed dramatically, with several players failing to reach double digits. The bowling unit of the Diamonds executed their plans impeccably, capitalizing on every opportunity to restrict runs and taking crucial wickets.

    Points Table Standings

As the league moves into its decisive phase, the Sobisco Smashers Malda Women are comfortably perched at the top of the points table with 10 points. Both the Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers Women and the Harbour Diamonds Women are close behind—each with 7 points—with their respective net run rates proving to be a critical factor in their standings.

The competition remains fierce, with both teams showcasing moments of brilliance and vying for playoff positions. Conversely, the Servotech Siliguri Strikers find themselves at the bottom of the table with a mere 3 points, struggling to convert their performances into wins. Close behind them are the Adamas Howrah Warriors, also standing at 3 points but edging ahead based on net run rate.

With only a handful of matches left in the league stage, every game now holds monumental significance. It’s a thrilling time for teams to be at their best, making sure to capitalize on every opportunity to secure a coveted spot in the playoffs. As fans, the excitement is palpable, and the stakes couldn’t be higher.
